Welcome and thank you for taking the time to investigate!
My name is Beth Hayes, owner of The Learning Den. Our vision is to provide a place for fellow homeschoolers to consign their used curriculum. But the vision doesn't stop at a used book store.
Although the beginnings are small, the vision is big. We are not alone in the desire to welcome newcomers, educating them on the legal aspects, and helping them with curriculum choices. The Learning Den can serve as a place were we can begin to work together to equip this area of homeschoolers with resources to help them in their epic journey.
Not only will The Learning Den offer fellow homeschoolers an option to the time- consuming task of trying to sell their used books, our business also provides a small setting (a larger setting is part of the vision) for speaking engagements. We also provide a variety of classes and tutoring, including many levels for math and the language arts.
As this is a work in progress, please re-visit the blog for updates, prices, and reveals. Currently, The Learning Den has a Google doc to investigate the inventory. This, too, is a work in progress. The file can be accessed on the "Hours and Inventory" page.
